There were 3.922 car accidents in Manhattan. In those accidents, 221 drivers, 173 passengers, 185 pedestrians, and 76 cyclists were injured. Brooklyn is a part of New York that had the most accidents in 2019. There were a total of 5.543 accidents. The people injured includes 578 drivers, 78 cyclists, 322 pedestrians, and 410 passengers. Three people died as a result of the injuries they sustained. And as a result of car accidents, 94 people die every year in Brooklyn.

5. Staten Island
There were 1.054 car accidents in Staten Island where 72 passengers, 110 drivers, 3 cyclists, and 23 pedestrians getting injured. There were no deaths as of March 2019, which makes it one of the least dangerous parts of NYC with only 17 deaths per year. There were also 554 people hospitalized and over 4.000 people being treated due to car accidents.
