Every one of us has the need to experience wild destinations because they give out vibes which cannot be sensed in the cities. Australia – state and the continent – is definitely a land of opportunities, especially if you consider yourself an adventurer. Kangaroo Island

Kangaroo Island is an island only 45 minutes away with a ferry ride from Adelaide, located in the deep South of Australia.  It is famous worldwide for their inhabitants and the national trademark – kangaroos. The wild nature on the island untouched, because a third of the island is protected as a national park.

Phillip Island

Next destination on our list is Phillip Island, Victoria, an hour and a half away from Melbourne. Australia is known for its wildlife, kangaroos, and koalas, but this is a magical place for penguins. Only here in the whole globe, you can see one of the large colonies of penguins in their natural environment. In the evening, their home is the Summerland Beach where penguins wobble up for the day.

Port Stephens

Port Stephens allows you to experience the wild sea-life with all its beauty fully. One of the best family places to spend the holidays is equipped with the natural environment on every step you take. Known as Australia’s Dolphin Capital gives visitors a life-changing sight and amusement. Daintree Rainforest

What more than one of the oldest rainforests in the world to get the real thrill of Australia’s adventure. In Queensland, Daintree Rainforest is the home of many different wild animals presented only on Australia’s soil, but one most recognizable Cassowary – the largest bird in the world. This huge birds and extremely territorial so take extra caution if you spot them looking your way. Kennett River

Kennett River is a place where, besides the natural beauties, you will actually be able to see Koalas in their natural environment. Koalas are with kangaroos the trademark of Australia, included in the majority of postcards sent from the country. Between Lorne and Apollo Bay on the Great Ocean Road holds the key of the vast number of Koala colonies present in the world. Cradle Mountain

This is the home of the famous carnivore the Tasmanian Devil. You will have the opportunity to see him from a distance, but his sound will be forever stored in your memory.

Tower Hill

The location of Tower Hill, Victoria, is three hours of driving from Melbourne. Tower Hill Wildlife Reserve near Warrnambool from 1892 is the National Park famous in the whole world. Emus are a must-see animal in this resort beside the many others present. This lightning-fast bird is barely seen outside in the wilderness of Australia, so take your chance and enjoy the moment.
